A super simple example for a little script that I’m currenty working on.
I was always annoyed, that there are so many different ways to overwrite materials in C4D… but none of them are truly convenient…

Thanks god, Maxon implemented the Take-System, a few versions back… But it is still lacking some material-based functions.
This is a little hacked approach, to make one’s life easier when working with lots of passes and different material-setups.
Will try to make a more complex and in-depth video very soon…

*Best thing of all, it works with every 3rd-Party Renderer..!
*No intentions for a release….. yet….
